Vandaag als dier van de dag De Kiwi.

En als bonus een gedicht om wat meer over deze vreemde vogel te leren:

The Kiwi is a Funny Bird
It Really has no Wings
It had them back in History
But didn’t use the Things.

But Long Ago, or so I’m old
It had no Need to Fly
It stayed upon the Forest Floor
And Managed to get by.

And after Aeons of Lack of Use
Those wings did Waste away
And so we’ve got the State of Things
The Kiwi has Today…

There’s a story there for all to See
Of Wasting , quite a bit
If you dont Use it When you can
You’ll lose the Use of it !!!

So Flap your Wings – and other things
And Give those Bits a Run
Preserve the Norm and Keep things warm
And What’s More – It could be Fun!!!
