Britain’s got Talent. Eén van de nieuwe Idols-kloons. Paul Potts is één van de mensen die ‘op de stip’ gaat staan. Hij verkoopt mobiele telefoons en verteld dat hij weinig zelfvertrouwen heeft. ‘En z’n hoofd zit ook al niet mee’ dacht ik onwillekeurig. Toen hij óók nog vertelde dat hij opera ging zingen dacht ik, en velen met mij, (waaronder de jury) dit wordt lachen, die gaat af als een gieter! De Henk-Jan Smits van Britain’s got Talent (de man geheel rechts) maakt iedereen altijd met de grond gelijk overigens, bij de beesten af soms.

Even schrok ik me kapot. Hoe vertel je iemand dat de vogels niet meer vliegen, dat de aarde niet meer rond is en Borsato geen TMF award krijgt? Is hij uit de gratie gevallen bij het TMF stemvee?
